What It’s Like to Work With Me
When you work with me, nothing happens to you without explanation or consent.
Before any treatment begins, I walk you through what I’m seeing, what I think is driving the problem, and what I recommend doing about it. I explain the why, where, how, and what of treatment in plain language so you’re never guessing what’s happening or why we’re doing it.
Every session is collaborative. I check in, get your consent, and make sure the plan makes sense to you before moving forward.
I also believe clarity matters just as much as treatment. Early on, I give you a realistic projection of what your treatment path is likely to look like—how often we’ll treat, what kind of progress we’re aiming for, and what it may take to resolve the issue you’re dealing with. As your body responds, we reassess and adjust rather than following a rigid or open-ended plan.
You’ll always know what benchmarks to watch for after treatment—changes in pain, movement, strength, or recovery—so you’re not left wondering how long you’ll need treatment.
My clinical training includes a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine from the Institute for Clinical Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (ICAOM) in Honolulu, Hawaii. I’ve completed over 3,000 hours of hands-on clinical work and specialize exclusively in orthopedic and musculoskeletal pain care. My approach is assessment-driven, transparent, and focused on results that carry into your daily life.
If you value clear communication, informed consent, and a structured plan rather than guesswork, you’ll likely feel at home working with me.
