Appointment Cancellation Policy
Each patient is extended a one-time courtesy waiver for either a no-show or a late cancellation.
After that initial courtesy waiver, I ask that you cancel appointments at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment time will be subject to a $90 late cancellation fee.
I understand that emergencies happen and will review these situations on a case-by-case basis. Examples include a car breakdown, sudden illness (if you’re feeling unwell the day before, please call rather than waiting until the day of), or other unexpected and unavoidable emergencies.
What to Expect for Your First Visit
Your initial visit is 90 minutes and is designed to fully understand your pain, treat it effectively, and set clear expectations moving forward.
We begin with a thorough intake and orthopedic assessment to identify the source of the problem. From there, we treat and establish a clear plan so you know exactly what to expect.
First 30 Minutes – Consultation & Assessment
We’ll review your main concerns, relevant health history, and what you’ve already tried. I’ll perform focused orthopedic testing to determine why the pain is happening and what’s preventing it from resolving. Based on this, we’ll outline a clear treatment strategy.
Next 30 Minutes – Treatment
This is the active treatment portion of the visit. We begin relieving pain and restoring function using targeted acupuncture, electrical stimulation, and other techniques appropriate for your condition.
Next 20 Minutes – Rest & Integration
You’ll rest comfortably while the treatment continues to work. This allows your nervous system and muscles to fully respond, enhancing the overall effectiveness of the session.
Final 10 Minutes – Review & Next Steps
We’ll review what was treated, what you may notice afterward, and what to expect moving forward. If appropriate, we’ll discuss follow-up timing and help you schedule your next visit.
The goal of the first visit isn’t just temporary relief—it’s to create a clear, effective plan so you can move forward with confidence.
What to Expect for Your Follow Up Visit
Follow-up appointments are 60 minutes and are designed to build on your progress and keep treatment moving forward efficiently.
First 30 Minutes – Check-In & Treatment
We’ll begin with a brief check-in to review how you’re feeling, what has changed since your last visit, and any remaining areas of concern. I’ll reassess as needed and begin treatment based on your current presentation.
Next 20 Minutes – Rest & Integration
You’ll rest comfortably while the treatment continues to work. This allows your muscles and nervous system to fully respond, reinforcing the effects of the session.
Final 10 Minutes – Review & Next Steps
We’ll review what was treated, what you may notice afterward, and any home care recommendations. If appropriate, we’ll also discuss timing for your next visit and get you scheduled.
Follow-up visits are focused, adaptive, and designed to build on progress—so care stays efficient and effective.
